The newest smartphones in the Mate series include the Huawei Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and Mate 80 RS Master Edition. These phones come in several color choices and are powered by Kirin chipsets, with options for up to 20GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. They come with the HarmonyOS 6.0 operating system. The Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max and Mate 80 RS Master Edition are equipped with the Kirin 9030 Pro chip and have a large 6,000mAh battery. The cost of the Huawei Mate 80 is CNY 4,699 (approximately Rs. 59,000) for the version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The models with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and 16GB RAM and 512GB storage are priced at CNY 5,199 (about Rs. 65,000) and CNY 5,499 (around Rs. 69,000), respectively.
The price of the Huawei Mate 80 Pro is CNY 5,999 (around Rs. 75,000), CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 81,000), and CNY 6,999 (about Rs. 87,000) for the configurations with 12GB RAM and various storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 512GB, respectively. The Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max is priced at CNY 7,999 and CNY 8,999 (around Rs. 1,13,000) for the models with 16GB RAM and 512GB and 1TB storage, respectively. It is available in colors including Aurora Blue, Polar Night Black, Polar Silver, and Polar Day Gold. Lastly, the Huawei Mate 80 RS Master Edition is available for CNY 11,999 (approximately Rs. 1,50,000) and CNY 12,999 (around Rs. 1,63,000) for the storage options of 20GB RAM with 512GB and 1TB, respectively. It comes in colors such as Dark Black, Hibiscus, and Pure White.
The dual-SIM (Nano) Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max operates on HarmonyOS 6.0 and has a 6.9-inch full-HD+ (1,320x2,848 pixels) LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, 1,440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz. The display is protected by second-generation Kunlun glass. Inside, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max is powered by the Kirin 9030 Pro chipset. For photography, the phone has a rear camera setup that features a 50-megapixel RYYB sensor with a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0 and optical image stabilization (OIS). The Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max offers various ways to connect, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 6, and multiple satellite navigation systems including BeiDou, Galileo, Navic, GPS, AGPS, QZSS, and Glonass. It also features NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging. The device includes numerous sensors like an ambient light sensor, attitude sensor, laser autofocus for the camera, color temperature sensor, compass, gyroscope, gravity sensor, infrared sensor, and proximity sensor. For unlocking, there is a fingerprint scanner on the side of the display. It can also recognize faces in 3D.
The Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max comes with a large 6,000mAh battery that supports rapid charging at 100W and wireless charging at 80W. It also allows for 18W wired reverse charging. The Huawei Mate 80 Pro and Mate 80 share the same operating system, SIM type, front-facing camera, and screen type as the Pro Max. They are equipped with a 6.75-inch display protected by second-generation Kunlun Glass. The standard model works with a Kirin 9020 Pro chip, while the Pro version operates with a Kirin 9030 Pro chip. The rear camera system in the Huawei Mate 80 has a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera featuring the RYYB sensor with f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and a second-generation red maple color primary camera. The sensors and connectivity features are almost the same as those found in the Pro Max version.
Both the Huawei Mate 80 Pro and Mate 80 have a sturdy build rated IP68+IP69 and come with a 5,500mAh battery. The Mate 80 Pro supports 100W wired rapid charging, 80W wireless fast charging, and 18W wired reverse charging. The standard model offers 66W wired fast charging, 50W for wireless fast charging, and 5W for wired reverse charging.

The screen can refresh at rates up to 120Hz and is protected by third-generation basalt tempered Kunlun glass.
