Six people had been killed and 10 more were reported injured on Tuesday morning when a school bus was  veered into oncoming traffic and badly drived through the side of a Maryland Transit Administration bus in Southwest Baltimore.

superintendent of the nearby Loudon Park Cemetery , Matt Wagster said that the force of the collision "shook the ground," in the 3800 block of Frederick Ave. in Irvington.

The drivers of both the buses and four passengers on the MTA bus had died immediately in the crash, and two more passengers had been admitted to hospital in  in critical condition on Tuesday evening.

No students were there on the school bus during the crash. The school bus was heading owards east on Frederick Avenue before 7 AM when it rear-ended a gray Ford Mustang and struck a concrete pillar in the entrance to the cemetery, at Monastery Avenue.
