The CMF Buds 2 are set to be unveiled on April 28 alongside other products from CMF by Nothing, including the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Prior to their launch, these true-wireless-stereo (TWS) earbuds have been officially listed online, revealing nearly all their specifications. According to this listing, the CMF Buds 2 will feature hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC). Additionally, the earbuds will integrate with ChatGPT, a capability that is already part of the audio products offered by Nothing and its subsidiary. The online listing, identified by GSMArena, confirms the earbuds' specifications and initially included a price of $59 (approximately Rs. 5,000) in the US, although this pricing is no longer visible. The earbuds will come in three color options: Light Green, Dark Grey, and Orange.

The official specifications for the CMF Buds 2 indicate they are equipped with 11mm custom drivers, utilizing Dirac Opteo sound tuning and Nothing Ultra Bass Technology 2.0. Additionally, CMF plans to incorporate spatial audio and the ability for dual connections in these earbuds. They are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance, while the case itself holds an IPX2 rating. For voice calls, the earbuds will include six HD microphones, offering features such as Clear Voice Technology 3.0 and Wind Noise Reduction 3.0. The TWS earbuds will provide hybrid ANC capabilities up to 48dB with support for a frequency range of up to 5,200Hz. Users will also benefit from the integration of ChatGPT with the CMF Buds 2, allowing interaction with the AI chatbot without using a smartphone. By simply pinching the stem of the earbuds, users can verbally pose questions ranging from general inquiries to storytelling prompts.

The CMF Buds 2 are reported to deliver 13.5 hours of playback on a full charge. Furthermore, a quick 10-minute recharge is said to offer an impressive 7.5 hours of audio playback. According to the listing, the total playback time with the charging case can reach up to 55 hours.
