Bollywood icon Dharmendra, lovingly referred to as the 'He-Man' of the film industry, died on November 24, 2025, leaving a significant gap in Hindi films. Recognized for his warm smile, engaging presence in movies, and a career that spanned over sixty years, Dharmendra was cherished both on-screen and off-screen. To commemorate his life and influence, the Deol family arranged a prayer gathering named 'Celebration of Life' today at Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai. In a touching moment, the entire Deol family, including Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Karan Deol, thanked the gathered guests with folded hands for their overwhelming support. A moving musical tribute was also held to celebrate the lasting legacy of the late actor. Attendees included Maniesh Paul, Ananya Birla, Nimrat Kaur, and Pooja Hegde.

The famous star Dharmendra died at the age of 89 on November 24, signaling the close of an important chapter in Indian film history. The actor's last rites were performed at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle. Notable actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Govinda, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone were seen arriving at the cremation site to extend their condolences to the Deol family. Others such as Amitabh Bachchan, Saira Banu, Abhishek Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Salim Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Rajkumar Santoshi, Anil Sharma, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and many more also paid their respects. The 'He-Man' of Indian Cinema had been in poor health for a while. On November 10, Dharmendra was hospitalized at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital due to his worsening condition. He was discharged two days later as the family chose to treat him at home. He passed away on November 24.

Dharmendra is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur; his second wife, actress Hema Malini; and six children - sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, along with daughters Vijeta and Ajeita from his first marriage, and daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol from his second. As one of the most celebrated actors of his era, Dharmendra left a significant impression in Hindi cinema with unforgettable roles in films such as 'Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke,' 'Sholay,' 'Chupke Chupke,' 'Ayee Milan Ki Bela,' and 'Anupama,' among others. He was admired not only for his ability to act in various roles but also for his contributions to the film industry, inspiring millions of fans around the globe. His passing has been deeply felt throughout the country, with fans and colleagues sharing heartfelt tributes that highlight the significant influence he had on Indian cinema and popular culture.
